30. Queen Esther- Native American Warrior
People tend to do extreme things when they experience tragedy. Queen Esther of the Iroquois people was no different. When a townsperson killed her son, she sought revenge. She ordered a raid on a nearby settlement and two more people were killed. This event brought down the wrath of the American military on her and her people and a battle ensued. They captured Esther and executed her villagers while she watched. The soldiers then lynched Esther and dumped her body in the river. Following her death, reports came in of unexplained screams where the massacre occurred. Hunters, who visit the area today, claim to see a young girl crying as she hangs from a tree. But upon coming closer, she disappears. They also say after seeing her, their guns malfunction without any explanation.
