24. Aaron Burr- Angry Vice President

Most remember Aaron Burr for his infamous duel with Alexander Hamilton in 1804. We can also thank him for the Twelfth Amendment to the Constitution which allows the President to choose his Vice President. Few know that today that his spirit haunts multiple places across New York. Some have seen his ghost wandering around his old neighborhood of West Village. Most of his ghostly activities though take place in a restaurant known today as One If By Land, Two If By Sea. The building that now houses the establishment is the carriage house once owned by Aaron Burr. Many describe his spirit as rather angry as it will reportedly smash dishes and move people’s chairs out from under them.
