29. In College, Donald Trump Received Four Military Deferments
Trump attended college at the time that the Vietnam War was going into high gear, and a draft was being initiated. He received four separate deferments that kept him from having to join the military, despite having attended a military academy. Upon graduating, a medical examination showed that he was fit to serve, but two months later, he received a medical deferment.
