49. Admiring the View in Washington
The early 1900s were a time to explore higher places. People wanted to witness all the scenery that was once impossible to see. Fortunately, it also helped map out areas so future generations could go on adventures. Today, we can see what’s out there without getting lost. Most of these explorers were scientists and cartographers. They were searching for new discoveries that might revolutionize the community. Perhaps, they could answer some of life’s questions. For instance, explorers took this image at the summit of Pinnacle Peak. It is in an area that is now King County in Washington State. You can go hiking and admire the beauty that these explorers admired in the early 1900s.
