28. Mark Twain
The famous writer of Huckleberry Finn and Tim Sawyer, Mark Twain, knew how to string words together to tell a great story. He was known for being exceptionally smart and ahead of his time, but also for a fantastic head of hair. He set the trend for the time and is immediately recognizable for his white suits and matching locks, especially that grand mustache. Even the newspapers described him as being quite good-looking, with a voice that was both gentle and dry at the same time. Like German wine, they described it. How’s that not a compliment?
